After use in sweaty and spark-emitting expeditions a simple airing suffices to regain fresh smell. As Loden fabric is odour-inhibiting it does not absorb body or smoke odour into the material. You can dryly brush out rough dirt such as mud easily with a clothes brush. Usually washing is not necessary. If, however, your exploration tours have in fact been as intensive, that brushing does not suffice any more, you can use the specially developed Bio Hand Washing Detergent or have your Loden garments dry-cleaned. You can gladly iron your Petromax Loden to preserve its water-resistant properties. Adjust your iron to medium and smooth out your garment surface with low pressure.
